A slightly OCD co-worker (bless his heart) of mine once confessed to me that leftovers repulse him. Food that has spent 1-2 days in his fridge is chucked in the garbage. When he nonchalantly told me this, I gasped loudly and glared at him. An onlooker would have guessed that he had struck me across...  I grew up singing to trees. My mother and I would hug their big trunks and press our ears against their rough bark. “Do you hear them?” my mom would ask? “Do you hear them singing to you?” Not only did this teach me to have an out-of-control imagination (and paranoia at times….helllo? if trees...  For the longest time I protested Saint Patrick’s Day by joining forces with the other radical women I knew. And what radical things did we do, you ask? Wear Black. Super lame, I know. The reason most Boulderites don’t care for St. Patty is because there weren’t any freakin snakes in Ireland in the 400′s!...  Early Friday morning, Julius Lentz passed away. He was at home, in his own bed, with his wife by his side. And most importantly, he was in the bustling heart of NYC, the place he loved so well. Of course it is sad and numbing when someone we adore leaves us. Sometimes it takes months...  Evan’s grandfather is just about the neatest person I’ve ever met. I gravitate towards eccentric, strong and creative people…even though they sometimes intimidate me.
